A TikTok Sensation

Did I ever see myself making a TikTok account? No.

But am I glad I did? Hell yeah.

Gotta say, I didn't foresee me having this much fun on TikTok. It's been fun making videos and just talking about whatever and figuring it all out. I made a video simply to understand the mechanics of it and here I am 14 or 15 videos deep.... and I love it. I will never do one of those point and dance videos though. That's where I draw the line.

Be my TikTok neighbor and follow me here

What are some of your favorite community toks you love to look at ? I'm trying soooooooo hard to break my addiction from #PerfumeTok, #CleaningRugsTok, and #CleaningCarsTok. I'm also never disappointed with exposing businesses tok.

Halloween musings.

Halloween falling on a Sunday feels so weird. Weird because for some reason I expected this year's Halloween to be really hype and really festive. But we're still not out of the pandemic so I'm glad it's not super hype and festive from what I've seen. This year feels very wholesome. Good, safe fun with people at home. I'm mad at it at all.

Speaking of the pandemic, the mask mandate got lifted in Louisiana a couple of days ago. I, of course, still wear my mask because I don't trust people and I know there are people out here confidently lying about being vaccinated, so I'm taking no chances. Friday, I went to the mall and everybody I saw was wearing masks, including store workers so that was nice to see.

There is one upside to the mask mandate being lifted and people pretending that we're way past the pandemic though, and I'm not gonna lie I was surprisingly shocked when I saw it.
